About the Artwork
This artwork was exhibited at the “Alice in Fantasia” exhibition, held at Junie Moon Daikanyama Store through September 27, 2026.
“A white rabbit who has found someone lost. When the clock chimes, come this way. This key is for you.”
In the original story, Alice follows the White Rabbit and wanders into Wonderland. This Alice is a little different. For this creation, I imagined a girl who becomes the White Rabbit herself, inviting everyone into Wonderland.
A classic light blue dress is paired with plenty of frills, retaining a girlish charm while adding a touch of maturity with a deep navy ribbon at the chest.
Playfulness has also been woven into the design, with motifs such as hearts and diamonds from playing cards scattered throughout. From the skirt pattern and pockets to the charms attached to the chain, I hope you will enjoy discovering the little details of “Wonderland” hidden throughout the outfit. ♠︎♡♣︎♢
The rabbit ears on the headdress contain wire, allowing you to bend them freely to your preferred angle. Vintage ribbon has been used for the very bottom layer of frills. As all of this ribbon has been used up in creating this piece, it is a very special ribbon that cannot be used to make the same design again. I hope you will take a closer look at its beautiful blue color, which is perfect for Alice. ୨୧⑅*。
In addition, the cubic zirconia embellishments on the two layers of frills and the butterfly on the rabbit ears sparkle beautifully, creating a romantic pair of rabbit ears. *:.*.。
To complement the overall sparkle, a clock-shaped bag made with beads is also included in the set.
Filled with so many things I love and carefully considered details, the dress of a White Rabbit inviting you into Wonderland is finally complete. Why not open the door to Wonderland together with this little girl? ♠︎♡♣︎♢
