About the Artwork
This artwork was exhibited at the “Alice in Fantasia” exhibition, held at Junie Moon Daikanyama Store through September 27, 2026.
“A tea party with the Dormouse.
Good night, Mr. Clock.
Forget about time and enjoy a cup of tea.”
In contrast to Alice’s outfit, this headdress was created with the image of the Dormouse in mind—a character who carries a clock but doesn’t care about time at all *:.＊.。
Unhurried by time, unaware of the time, leisurely sleeping or enjoying a tea party.
Fun times may pass in the blink of an eye, but the Dormouse’s tea party never comes to an end.
I’ve filled this piece with that relaxed and unhurried world of imagination ୨୧⑅*｡
While incorporating clock motifs, the design has a sleepy, laid-back atmosphere.
